While I was hoping all three DLC’s would be purely story stuff, this one isn’t too bad. The idea is just an arena with a bunch or rounds (Like Mad Moxxi but solo) with you killing a bunch of enemies with your choice of any weapon at the start. You only get 4 vigors, but can buy all the others right from the get go when you get the money for them.
You start off without any of your upgrades from the main game, but you can buy them all once you get the cash for them right at the start just like the vigors. As you complete each wave you get a fusion upgrade or a gear item, which is a total of 60 items. Each wave has a ribbon condition (Skyhook executions only, etc) and this adds to the re-playability of the quests once you have some upgrades.
You can than use your cash to unlock statues, art, voxaphones and music in the main hall of the exhibit. This definitely fuels your way to complete all the waves and get the unlocks if you enjoy seeing things like this. The enemies are hard to kil land you do take a bunch of damage (Hard difficulty set in stone for everything here) which you could get overrun if your not prepared, you do get a chance to buy a respawn at the cost of 500 dollars and gets REALLY expensive if you die more than once.
Alone I say this DLC would only be worth it if you get it during a sale, since it really doesn’t add any story to the game and is just an arena basically. If you do get the season pass (I Recommend it, since the two rapture stories cos 15 dollars each and the season pass is 20) than this is worth running through and unlocking everything in your wait for the return to Rapture.
