Since I’m doing dailies I figured I would do an overview of each mod I do and what I think about each one. Forgot to schedule a post for sunday so this is a day late. Author information is in the description of each video.
Day 1: Dogfighters
This one bugged out for me since it didnt have any working AI for my team or enemy team. It basically was a MOBA mod with vehicles and flying around. Took to long to take the sheilds down by myself, so I just messed around.
Day 2: Dia-Blo Mortal Shroud
Really cool mod that takes, what I assume, Diablo 1 story and makes a Starcraft 2 Mod. Has dialogue, inventory, enemies, leveling up and big areas to explore. Really surprised me what they created with an RTS engine.
Day 3: Starjeweled
This takes the idea of bejeweled and has you build units to kill the enemy team the more points and bigger combos you get. Interesting idea but since I set it to expert I got demolished lol.
Day 4: Fireteam Arena
Big multiplayer isometric shooter that has teams killing each other in an execution mode type gameplay. AI bots worked on this on so I got some gameplay out of it.
Day 5: Star Cart
Car racing mod that uses zerg units as the cars. Since the AI wasn’t working for the solo version, it just has me running around the map with the crazy big distractions on the road.
Day 6: SC Battlefield
Battlefront like mode where you have the normal units and the hero classes. Set up as a third person shooter that does work well and has tons to kill. The hero classes were really fun and had me dashing all over the place.
Day 7: Big Battlefield
One giant arena area where tons of units are killing each other. Most of them you can take control of and use them in a third person view. Each unit has its own attacks and is fun running around killing things. Wish it had more units to control though.
